The Q & A’s of in-home care:
Q. Is your agency Licensed in Indiana?
A. Fully licensed by the state as well as Federal
Q. Are you insured and bonded
A. Fully insured and Bonded
Q. Do you perform Background Test and Drug Testing and driving record of your staff? and how often?
A. Upon hiring and Quarterly for Background check if needed more and random drug testing
Q Do you offer additional education?
A. yes, we do
Q. Does all of your staff have the required documents and tests required by the state?
A. Yes and they are not place on assignment until all is complete
Q. What do you do in case of an emergency, who do you call?
A. If it’s a fall, we call 911 for lift assist. If client is not feeling well, we Notify the POA and wait their instructions
Q. Can the family get a weekly report emailed to them?
A. Absolutely we love keeping the family involved
Please note that Safe t home care will only speak with the POA of Health care unless otherwise specified by the POA and or client.
Q. When driving the client on appointments or shopping, how do you want to handle the purchases? do you bill the client, or do we give cash to Caregiver?
A; Families are encouraged to purchase grocery gift cards, we do not encourage the transfer of cash or credit card.
